A. The Network Interviews is a brand new book, featuring an incredible collection of popular rock musician interviews done in the 80s, from a New York City area music newspaper called Network.


Q. Are these original interviews?

A. Every interview in The Network Interviews is indeed an original interview that first appeared in the 80s music newspaper Network.


Q. Who are these interviews of?

A. Mainly heavy metal and hard rock stars, including Guns 'N Roses, KISS, Ozzy, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Dokken, Ted Nugent, Metallica, White Lion, Poison, Howard Stern, Lita Ford, and many more.


Q. The Bon Jovi interview is the first what?

A. The Bon Jovi interview in the book is the very first interview concerning his new album at the time "Slippery When Wet" to appear in print, way back in 1986. In one of the original chapters, "The Creation of Network," you will read the details of how Network got the interview, and the tidal wave it caused!


Q. Besides the over 40 classic interviews, what is the original content in the book?

A. In addition to over 40 great interviews, there is various great original content as well. The chapter titled "The 80's Metal Scene" by Steven Fallon tells the story of how heavy metal rose in the 80s and fell in the 90s; "The Creation of Network," also by Fallon, tells the remarkable tale of the original Network newspaper's creation and how it thrived (some great rock star stories in this chapter); a foreward by Frank MacKay, one of the creators of Network; and a foreward by interviewer legend Joe Franklin. Steven Fallon also writes a brand new introduction to each interview.

A. 300 pages of great reading, in this amazing softcover book.

Q. How did you guys get Joe Franklin to actually write a foreward for you?

A. We promised Joe we'd mow his lawn for a year. But honestly, we're just lucky. (Lucky that Joe has a lawn.)
